ROOT SYSTEM / DEAD SEA SOULS / SOUTHERN REMEDY / B RAYMOND & THE VOICETTES
Root System are a new and original ska band from Fife that have been winning fans from all over the country this summer with their electric performances at festivals such as Rockness, Wickerman and Live at Loch Lomond. They are a band that certainly know how to get the crowd going with their sambuca guzzling antics. The band will be supported by Bathgate’s finest Dead Sea Souls as well Southern Remedy and B Raymond & the Voicettes. You may recognise B Raymond & the Voicettes track Old Man Marley which is featured in the current Brylcreem advert. All the acts on the bill are upbeat and funk/ska influenced and this is a great opening bill for the Capitol Fresher’s Festival.
