WHITE RIOT SHOWCASE
One of Scotland’s top promoters White Riot come to Glasgow with a great reputation of showcasing the cream of Scottish acts. Hi 5 Alive headline this event, this band are tipped for the top in 2008 and after their storming performance at T in the Park you can certainly understand why.The 3 piece Glasgow based act take influences from bands like the Clash and the Jam, but put their own unique style to it, to create a sound they like to describe as Tropical. The Beatnic Prestige and Tango in the Attic provide support for this gig, the east coast based bands will bring an energetic indie/punk set to Glasgow and no doubt bring an army of crazy fifers along for the ride.
