Just a reminder about the special charity event we’ve got coming up tomorrow evening with TBC – Together Beat Cancer in association with 32Music & Cancer Research UK. Not only will it be an amazing night but you’ll also be doing your bit for a great cause by supporting us.

The event will be split into 2 parts the live show and the club. The live show will feature 3 different bands playing unique sets, followed by a club, which is being run in association with a number of respected figures within Glasgow’s electronic music scene (Radio Magnetic, Kinky Afro & Hum+Haw Records).

The compere for the evening will be comedian Harry Gooch (Radio Magnetic/Fence Records).
Also, there will be a Promotional Podcast available from Radio Magnetic over the
next few days here.

BANDS

Alfonzo – Chunky riffs to Beach Boys harmonies, this Edinburgh four piece deliver rock & roll in its purest form. Alfonzo have gigged in the main venues around Scotland and with the likes of Snow Patrol, Doves and Feeder. The first single will be coming soon, with the album to follow next year.

The Easy Orchestra – With the rhythmic drive of the Congas & Acoustic Guitar, and the eccentric flair of the Piano, enjoy ‘Easy’ listening covers, and original material, from Glasgow’s Kings of Cool.

The Draymin – Indie Rock four piece from Rosyth with soaring melodies and bouncing riffs. Draw inspiration from The Verve, The Stone Roses & BRMC to name a few.

DJs Jim Hutchison (Hum+Haw/Radio Magnetic) – Staple of the electronic music scene in Glasgow for over 10 years. Co-founder of new Glasgow-based Record Label, Hum+Haw with Alex Smoke.

Dougal Perman (Kinky Afro/Radio Magnetic) – Co-founder of Radio Magnetic and Kinky Afro resident, Dougal plays electro funk and credit crunk.

Scott Problems (Radio Magnetic/Bump) – Resident House DJ on Radio Magnetic with his Ground Loops radio show & stalwart of the Glasgow House music scene.
